![]() I own Bryce 6.1 but, although it was a great app some years ago, it's been almost negletted by daz3d: it crashes quite often on my intel mac, can't import nearly nothing (i haven't been able to import ANY of the. Your gen3 shots are really nice! anyway, for the kind of stuff I'd like to produce (photorealystic architecture renders), i think Luke's Vue trees are still preferable, while yours should be better in animation etc.īy the way, my major interest is in having a landscape sofware in which i can easily import SU and Cheetah's architectural models. obj (so a lot of re-texturing work is needed.) On the GPL tree generator side there's always the java-based Arbaro, which is quite good but, for what i know, can export to Cheetah only via. it's such a crime that a so powerful (and free!) app is so hard to get on with :frown: ) from time to time i try to use it but i loose myself in the mass of parameters for now i haven't been able to make it a friend of mine. Thanks for your kind answer! i didn't know gen3 script (as anyone out there i obviously know blender and i'm kinda scared by his terrible ui. P.s.: I know Esprit can't export objects/scenes (without "exporter" module) but it can create HDRIs and i think it could export trees from within the (additional) "botanica" module so have you tried to import SU and Cheetah's objects/scenes into Vue and how it works? I saw trees from Vue works quite well in Cheetah (though I still haven't find a way to get rid of those ugly black spots in the middle of the foliage.) and that should be good enough when you have to render a villa with his little garden (as you did several times) but if you got a house in the forest or something like that it should be easier (and faster) import SU/Cheetah model and make the whole scene in Vue. ![]() I am considering buying a Vue license (there's a discount of 70$ on 7Esprit 'till may 20th) for renders with a considerable presence of vegetation or landscape. since i know you used all of these software: Maybe a bit offtopic but I got a question for you.
